Brian May (guitarist), Freddie Mercury (vocal), John Deacon (bass), dan Roger Taylor (drums) mendirikan grup legendaris Queen di London tahun 1970. 3 tahun setelah dibentuk, grup ini berhasil melepas album pertama mereka QUEEN. Walaupun album ini mendapat banyak pujian dari kritikus musik, namun angka penjualan tidak cukup memuaskan.
